Spell Options 10 Countering, Dispel and Failure and the RPG Round Up

Spell Options 10 Countering, Dispel and Failure

For many a seasoned adventurer and explorer, magic can become, whilst still a useful tool, boring. You know what a certain spell is effective for, or how potent you need to be to use the spell found on a scroll.

The Spell Options series is a way of tweaking existing spells without using feats. You can change the colour, make the spell weaker and thus easier to cast or make them more powerful but unstable.

This volume focuses on options that can be used when your spell is countered, dispelled, dismissed and you fail to cast or maintain it properly.

The options within are divided up into four groups:

• Countered
• Dampened – aka temporary dispelling
• Dispelled
• Failure

Each will give various options and effects for each type of spell interaction, from a small chance to not using up spell components, to making it harder to counter your next spell and more.

Quick Generator – Adventuring Party or Group Name and RPG Round Up

Quick Generator – Adventuring Party or Group Name

The Quick Generator series was designed with one concept in mind – a quick and simple way to come up with something that could be used in your games and stories.

Having no more than two d100 tables, it is easy and as the name suggests, quick, to use.

Each volume is stand alone and doesn’t need other tables, but there is nothing stopping you combining or using the various volume together.

This edition is designed to help you come up with a quick name for an adventuring party, group or gang. This may be the formal name they use or a nickname given to them by the local authorities or local population.

Sample Output –
Promised Crusaders
Blessed Circle
Free Legion

Modified Streaming Schedule

Due to some technical issues with the games and streaming software I’ve had to modify the games that I am running on HERE. As far as I can tell it’s not one thing that’s causing the problems, but a combination of the games being old, my system not being 100% perfect and having to run in a window, rather than having two screens (for game and OBS/Streaming software that is needed).

This means that on Thursdays will be playing another MMO – Assuming no issues will be Star Wars – The Old Republic and on Fridays am jumping ahead to Fallout 3 (then NV and FO4 once they are done). This will be added to the “set up a guild/group” plan for playing with others and so on. I think this will be it for MMOs for me, for the foreseeable future at least.

Saturdays still remain the same – Planned to have ST...
