A rich starry sky fills the view from an ancient gas-giant planet in the core of the globular star cluster M4, as imagined in this artist’s concept. The 13-billion-year-old planet orbits a helium white-dwarf star and the millisecond pulsar B1620-26, seen at lower left. The globular cluster is deficient in heavier elements for making planets, so the existence of such a world implies that planet formation may have been quite efficient and common in the early universe. Some belive there are about a billion galaxies in the known universe, with each of them having a billion star systems and countless planets.  It would be a massive undertaking to try to detail everyone of them. So ,this generator has been made to  make your work just that tiny bit easier.

Based off partially off the third part of the Multiverse Kit, called “Multivers Kit Part 3 – Planet details“, this can generate some odd or interesting planets for your universe. You may get weird (or interesting and challenging) results like a planet smaller than Earth, but with twice the gravity and no atmosphere, or you could get something that, on the surface appears boring.

This can be used to create planets or even moons, just ignore or reduce the planet size to something that is more suitable.

An example planet made from the random generator is shown below, the planet Adisos, a sulphuric volcano ridden planet with massive plains a super dense atmosphere where microbes and basic plants have managed to somehow live.

Adisios
Size Huge (8) [(10d10 * 3) * 1000 meters]
Density Average (6)
Gravity multiplier 1.3 -> 1.7 (1d5)
Atmosphere Rating Super Dense 400 (40d10)
Atmosphere type Sulphur/Volcanic
Day (in Earth Hours) 4d10
Year/Orbit (in Earth Days) 10d10 x 3
Tilt 1d10 + 20
Hydrosphere 96 – 100 (1d5 + 95)
Dominant Terrain Plains
Highest lifeforms Microbes, basic plants
