Character Description
This elf is tall and of normal weight (113 lbs.) for his race.
He is an elderly man with thick, shoulder-length blonde hair, and bloodshot violet eyes with thick eyebrows. He has a light complexion, rough skin, and a normal-sized head with a long face that has a low forehead and a square jaw. His nose is roman and his mouth is normal sized with a thick upper lip. His teeth are rotting and his breath is odorless. His ears are pointed, and hesports a goatee. His arms are long, his legs are normal, and his fingers are short. He is wearing thin clothing and a gloomy expression, and walks with awkward movements. There is the stench of decay emanating from the man.
He is hedonistic, harsh and pleasant, and speaks in a whispery, a wheezy voice, and is primarily interested in Fishing.
He seems very stable, mentally.

One other item of interest concerning this man; he looks like a deadbeat.

Personal History
This character was born in a Village of 300 Elves. The Village was a loose grouping of related families. He was raised in an area considered Temperate Forests – primarily deciduous vegetation.
Both of his Parents are alive and healthy. His Mother’s parents are still alive, but his Father’s parents are deceased. He is the middle child of his family, and has three older siblings as well as one younger sibling. He has at least 18 other living relatives. He lost a significant friend by the name of Farnuir when she went missing 17 years ago.

He grew up in a Matriarchy, in which the female members controlled the family.
He was raised as part of a Religious Order by the name of The Food Seller (provisionist)’s Citizens. While his ‘family’ didn’t have much direct income, it had access to the necessary resources through its church. As he was growing up, his family were considered Lower Class. His family were laborers, and he has been struggling to escape that stigma nearly all of his life.
During the times of his life when it became necessary to defend themselves, his family were prepared – if necesary – for martial conflict. Most of his family members were at least minimally versed in the basics of using clubs, spears, and knives in self-defense and/or the defense of their home – but that was about all.
Privately, his family held to the letter of contracts and agreements, and could always be depended on to ‘do the right thing’ – earning them a reputation for honesty and reliability. His family’s public ethics has recently changed, however. Although the public perception about his family has changed for the worse, the family’s reputation has not yet been affected. Interesting question: How did the policy change, and why? He is intrigued by the policy change, and is always willing to follow up any leads that may help answer those very questions. His family’s reputation in the community however, is essentially unknown, as his family has no perceived character. Individuals are treated according to the situation without any regard to the family name.
His family’s Religious preferences leaned toward the worship of Ixion as their patron Deity for years, but they do not seem to observe their religious commitments consistently.
Politically, his family would be considered Dissident. His family is secretly supporting a movement to overthrow the political system.
His family boasts a Master Artisan as an ancestor. His ancestor – Eadbrand by name – was an artisan of unmatched skill who left a legacy of excellence that is still used as a standard gauge of quality in most of the world today.

His childhood was essentially normal. The only thing that might be considered unusual was the fact that he had succumbed to a serious Illness that plagues him to this very day. Although the event was traumatic, he would not have been the man he is now without it.
During the years of his youth, he was involved in a Great Romance. To this day, the romance still affects his life since the relationship continues to this day. As a result, he has fostered a reputation for great tenderness.
Unfortunately, life has not been all that rosey for him. He has been forced to deal with a Community Crisis brought on by an unchecked Famine that decimated his community. Virtually all the local healers had exhausted their skills and ideas – with only a mere handful of precious lives being saved to show for their efforts. He was in the front lines of the battle, but his efforts and the application of his Skills proved to be futile nonetheless. He is haunted to this day by his futile attempts to make a difference in that particular crisis .
His early education was couched in Religion, where he learned the religious beliefs of his family. He has since rejected them completely out-of-hand after becoming disillusioned by a traumatic incident later in his life. Later, he learned basic Politics, concentrating on Diplomacy and political philosophy. Currently, he has been making a living as a Farmer – planting, weeding, and harvesting the local crops.
As far as his relationships with his Instructors went, the instructor who taught him everything he knows mysteriously vanished. He has always wondered what happened to to his mentor, and has vowed to keep looking for clues to help solve the mystery.
He has a minor childhood enemy by the name of Hyrl who still harbors a prejudice against him, but he can’t think of any reason for the continuing antagonism.
