Birds of prey, also known as raptors, hunt and feed on other animals. Some can get to be quite large. 20 of them are listed below. In a fantasy setting, they could be enhanced by magic to be larger or used as flying mounts by the smaller races. In a SciFi setting, they might be used as templates or drones or enhanced mentally to be some kind of scout. Whatever the reason for using them these beast are large and impressive. Some sadly are considered to be endangered or close to extinction.
