Volume 2 of the Superaltive Spells series features hybrid spells.

Hybrid spells are classified as a spell that has two, or sometimes more, damage types or effects in the same casting. Sometimes these types may complement each other, or, as in the case of cold and fire, be the complete opposite.

By their very nature, hybrid spells will never as powerful in one aspect as, for example, a pure fire or cold spell. But they have a rather obvious advantage in the fact that if someone or something is protected against one type of damage, they can still be harmed by the other type.

DESCRIPTION

This spell allows the user to violently hurl or move objects or creatures. You can move one object/creature per caster level. You can hurl a total weight of up to 20 pounds per caster level.

To throw an object at a target, you must succeed on attack rolls (one per creature or object thrown) to hit the target with the items, using your base attack bonus + your Intelligence modifier (for wizards) or Charisma modifier (for bards or sorcerers).

In addition, any object caught in this has its temperature drop quite noticeably and causes 1d4+1 point per 3 CLs of cold damage.

Will saves negate the movement effect, and a Fort Save negates the biting cold effect.
