Dungeon Features

One of the new projects I am working on at the start of the year is the next in the Dungeon Feature series. For those that are unaware of it, it is a series of pdf with the common theme of “things you might find in a dungeon or building or similar environment.” As that is obviously an unwieldy title, it was shortened to Dungeon Feature.

So far there have been the following in the series:

[Dev Notes] – Dungeon Feature – Statues

With myself now being mostly caught up with older projects and things getting back into line, I can continue to work on my extensive to-do project list. One that has been sitting on the back-burner for a while is the Dungeon Feature series. This next planned one is about statues. Like the rest of the DF series, it can be used outside of dungeons, such as in a city or private home.

So far I have the following in my notes file for possible aspects, in no particular order

  • Material
  • Subject
  • Pose/position of the subject
  • Base/Plinth for the statue
  • Condition of the statue
  • Size
  • Inscription on the plinth, if any
  • Quirks/Features

The dungeon feature series covers what you would find as you explore, each volume focusing on something different. This volume features fountains, pieces of architecture which pour water into a basin or jets it into the air to supply drinking water and/or for a decorative or dramatic effect.

  • What type of liquid can be found in the fountain? This uses d20 table for quick use and a d100 for expanded options
