Well, it’s the end of 2014 and with 2015 just around the corner, time to go over the year and my plans for the next
First off, some blog stats – Check out the link below for some interesting details about the site
Blog stats for the year : http://jetpack.me/annual-report/35836066/2014/
I was pleasantly surprised that over the year have had visitors from Mongolia and Canada has sent more people here then my own country, the UK. But all are welcome so I can’t really complain.
The major plans for the year, from a product point of view , include the following :
- Finish off the Starship Kit : As much as i like doing the bigger kits, with my family and my own health issues they are taking longer then expected. One the SSK is finished then it will be the last kit of that style for a while. Future kits will be smaller in scope
- Finish off the Superhero Kit : This is , in many ways, easier to do when compared to the SSK, but the main difficulty is, surprisingly, the super powers. I’m trying to decide if it’s worth doing them in one go, or, smaller parts, but then the problem becomes how to break down the powers. At the moment it’s looking like a one product release, but theat may change
- Add more generators – This includes both the site and PDF, more variation in them, not just limiting to fantasy or sci-fi
- Get contributors – Contributors will be needed for the future, ASAP. So if you have some ideas and want to earn a few coins on your work, then get in touch at contact@enneadgames.com and we can chat about it
- Update existing products – A few of the older products will be taken off sale and updated. If you already have the item, then you get the update for free (if you have purchased it through Drivethru for example). Some of these updates will be relatively minor, such as editing being corrected or the cover brought into line with the others in the range etc.
- Continue working down the projects list I have for releases
I accept that the best laid plans of mice and men may fall by the wayside. The changes behind the scenes I have made over the last month or so have made it easier to keep track of projects and progress and with any luck this should be reflected in the output in the coming year
Lastly, big thanks go to Steven Savage (Seventh Sanctum and Muse Hack) for his support, David Ball (Ongoing Worlds) and Mark Ball(SciFi Ideas) for their help in promotion and suggestions over the past year
So I hope you all have a great 2015 and may your dice rolls be ever in your favor
Chris
