As I’m working on a new PDF about sewers, it seems fitting to have this week’s “10 Questions..” series be about the same topic.
Some of these prompts/questions can be applied to individual settlement sewer systems or the concept as a whole.
- How old is the sewer system?
- How extensive is it/how much area does it cover?
- Are there regional variations in terms of design, how much it can handle etc?
- How is it accessed for maintenance and so forth?
- Who is in charge of upkeep and how do they raise funds to do so?
- Are there any urban legends regarding sewers?
- Where ultimately do the sewers lead to?
- Does any flora/plants etc grow in there?
- What creatures, living or otherwise, call this place home?
- What is allowed to be put into sewers and how is it monitored?
Bonus question : Are there any famous stories or tales that feature sewers heavily?
